I was highly impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and thoroughness of the optometrist, Dr. Ashley Butler, and the receptionist, Amy at the Pendleton Eye Center, Dr. Butler gave me a courtesy examination following a less than optimum cataract surgery, The purpose was to verify the efficacy of the prescription that was given to me for glasses by my cataract surgeon’s office. The prescription that she rendered improved upon that which was given to me by my surgeon’s office. The Pendleton Eye Center then sent my glasses back to their provider without charge to install lenses with the new prescription issued by Dr. Butler. I am so impressed with their level of care. I am 74 years old and knew that my eyes were having trouble. My glassware prescriptions just kept getting thicker and thicker. I spoke to many friends and family members about cataracts and lens replacement procedures and decided to trust my husband’s Ophthalmologist, Dr. Robert B. Pendleton of the Pendleton Eye Center in Oceanside, CA. His well-established company has been in business for 26 years. What delighted me the most was finding out from his Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, Diana Amador, that she herself had received the same procedure that I was considering from Dr. Pendleton. I also found out that she had been with Dr. Pendleton for more than 19 years and had never been happier in a workplace. That is genuine loyalty in action and a very real recommendation from someone! I was very happy with the entire process from intake, examination, explanation of what to expect, the modern equipment, the many different levels of testing and attention to detail and the very friendly atmosphere. I went from being nervous to being very excited about having my cataracts removed and a near/far lens being placed in both eyes. On repeated occasions, the entire staff was impressive and worked easily together handling the many tasks of this successful office. Dr. Pendleton was very professional. He did my cataract surgery which went very well. However, because I was using eye drops with preservatives, I developed a reaction in one of my eyes.
