At Pendleton Eye Center, caring for our patients goes beyond providing exceptional eye care — it extends to supporting the communities we serve. This holiday season, we’re proud to host a food drive to help families in need across the greater San Diego area. From now through December 19th, all Pendleton Eye Center location are collecting non-perishable food items, and we invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference.
Many families in our community face food insecurity, especially during the holidays, when the need for nutritious meals and essential household items increases. By contributing to our food drive, you’re helping ensure that children, seniors, and families have access to healthy food and vital necessities, bringing warmth and comfort to those who need it most.
What to Donate
We welcome a variety of non-perishable items to support local food banks. Some of the most needed items include:
- Canned meats, soups, and beans
- Peanut butter and nut butters
- Pasta, rice, and boxed meals
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Cereal and shelf-stable milk
- Baking supplies – flour, sugar, muffin or cake mixes
- Personal hygiene items – soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and toilet paper.
- Diapers – a vital necessity for families with infants and toddlers.
